Splash Pads Helping Local Governments Cool Their Spending

The summer had ended, but visions of splashing, water fun, and the next warm season haven't escaped the minds of many city, county, and other agencies. Many are turning to splash pads as an alternative to government-run swimming pools.

As of the date of this video, there have been 87 bid requests in the past year. The solicitations and purchases are coming from all over the U.S.: California (15), Florida (9), and New Hampshire and Michigan (6 per state).
