Password Resource

BidPrime requests that customers follow secure password policies to ensure the security of your account.

As you create a new password, we remind every BidPrime user that secure best practices for password creation include:

•  Pick a password that others would not guess
•  At least 8 characters
•  Combination of letters, numbers and/or special characters
•  Do not use personal information: family names, pets, DOB, etc.

Additionally, we remind every user that each user should login in using a unique login and password.

BidPrime maintains good standing with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), performs regular internal and external audits and follows standard industry security practices to ensure the protection of customer data.

Our customer passwords are not stored or kept on BidPrime’s servers at all. We mask passwords through a process called salted hashing, which replaces the actual password with a random set of numbers and letters that are stored to protect your actual password and data. This allows our systems to validate your account credentials without revealing your password. This is an industry standard.
